Tips and detailed strategy
You're sitting in front of a 1960s rotary phone. A 5-digit number appears at the top; its first digit blinks. Catch the matching hole on the dial with your cursor (slide your finger into it), drag the dial clockwise until it hits the metal stop, then release. The dial spring-returns to home — no new pulses can be sent during that return, so you must wait. Hole 1 sits right next to the stop and barely needs any travel; hole 0 is the farthest, demanding almost a full turn. Dial each digit in order; completing a number earns 5 points and a new number appears. Catch the wrong hole and the dial still rotates, but the digit is rejected and you lose 1 second. The clock runs for 60 seconds; when it hits zero your total points and the count of correctly dialed digits are saved. Strategy: look ahead at small digits (1, 2, 3) before catching, and aim your next hole visually while waiting for the spring-back.
