Tips and detailed strategy
Fill every cell of a 6×6 board with either a sun (☀) or a moon (☾) following just three rules. (1) No three identical symbols may be adjacent horizontally or vertically — you'll never see three suns or three moons in a row. (2) Each row and each column must contain exactly three suns and three moons; the counts must be equal. (3) Honour the small marks between cells: '=' demands the two neighbouring cells share the same symbol, while '×' demands they differ. Clicking a cell cycles it through empty → ☀ → ☾ → empty; cells with a darker background are locked clues you can't change. The moment any rule is broken, the offending cells and marks light up red — these warnings are live and disappear as soon as you fix them. When the board is completely filled and no red warnings remain, you've solved the puzzle. Three difficulties are offered top-right: Easy (20 clues, few constraints), Medium (15 clues, more constraints), Hard (10 clues, many constraints). 'Reset' (R) clears your moves back to the clues; 'New puzzle' (N) generates a fresh board. Your move count is tracked and your fewest-moves record per difficulty is kept in the browser. Tip: hunt the '×' marks first — when two neighbours must differ, fixing one immediately fixes the other. Then scan triples: if two neighbours are already suns, the third must be a moon; once a row/column has all three suns placed, the remaining three cells are certainly moons. Chain these three principles (the no-triple rule, the row/column balance, and the edge constraints) to deduce one cell at a time.
