Tips and detailed strategy
Paint Mix is a short puzzle that asks your colour intuition to meet a little arithmetic. The top of the scene has two circles: on the left, the TARGET (the colour you have to hit this round); on the right, the MIX (your current blend). Below them are three paint pots: Red (1), Yellow (2), Blue (3). Each click or number key adds one drop of that pot to the mix. The mix colour updates live as a weighted average of the drops, so 1 red + 1 yellow gives a clean orange, 1 red + 1 blue gives purple, 1 yellow + 1 blue gives green, and 2 yellow + 1 blue leans more yellow-green. Because every target is generated as a valid combination of the three primaries, every round is winnable — your job is to spot the right ratio. When you're ready, press SUBMIT (Enter): the closer your mix is to the target, the higher the score — perfect hit is 100, a near-miss is 60-80, a far miss under 20. The mix clears automatically and the next target appears. CLEAR (C) wipes drops if you started badly; each round caps at 12 drops. You have 60 seconds total, and the sum of all your round scores is your run score (saved locally). Targets use more drops as the round count grows (from 2 up to 6), so the ratios get pickier. Tip: first identify the dominant tone — warm (red/yellow) targets want very little blue, cool ones want less red. For pastels and greys, touch all three pots in small doses. Always step in by single drops and read where the mix has moved before adding more.
