How to play
Tips and detailed strategy
On the healer's bench there are unmarked bottles; all you can do is fill a bottle to the brim, empty it completely, or pour its contents into another bottle. When you pour, the liquid flows until either the source bottle is empty or the target bottle is full — so the bottle capacities are your only measuring instrument. Your goal is to obtain the target amount shown in the HUD exactly in any one bottle. When you click a bottle it is selected as the source (a purple glow); then if you click another bottle, the selected one pours into it. Clicking the same bottle again cancels the selection. The 'Fill' button under each bottle fills it to capacity, and 'Empty' pours it entirely back onto the bench. On the keyboard, 1-9 selects a bottle, F fills, E empties, U undoes the last move, and R resets the level. The target line is shown on each bottle with a dashed line; when a bottle reaches the target it turns green and the level ends. Each level has a 'minimum moves' count: finish in that many moves or fewer for three stars, a little more for two, and more than that for one star — so first find a solution, then replay it looking for a shorter one. Tip: the target usually arises from the difference between two capacities; try filling the big bottle and emptying it into the small one, then pouring out the small one and carrying over the remainder. In three-bottle levels, use the middle bottle as an 'intermediate measure'. Your progress and the stars you collect are saved in your browser.
