How to play
Tips and detailed strategy
Clear a 4-layer mahjong pyramid (60 tiles) by removing matching pairs. A tile can only be lifted when it's 'free' — nothing on top of it AND at least one of the left or right neighbours is empty. Tiles blocked on both sides or with a tile resting on them are locked and dim. To play: click a free tile, then click another free tile with the same symbol — both are removed and the layers beneath them are exposed. Click the selected tile again or press Esc to cancel. Helpers: H gives a hint (3 per game; highlights a valid pair), U undoes the last match, N reshuffles, R starts a new game. Clear every tile to win; lose when no free pair remains (shuffles are guaranteed solvable but a wrong order can lock you out). Tip: peel the top layer first to free what's below; when four copies of a symbol are on the table, pick the two whose removal still leaves the other pair reachable later.
