Candy Match — free browser game

Your goal is to pop coloured candies by lining up 3 or more side by side and to complete each level's objective within a limited number of moves. Select a candy and drag it onto an adjacent neighbour (or double-tap) — the swap is accepted if it forms at least one match, otherwise the candies snap back to their places. Matches longer than three create special candies, and the real depth of the game comes from these special candies: matching 4 candies in a single line creates a striped candy that, when it pops, sweeps the entire row or column; matching 4 in an L or T shape makes a wrapped candy that blasts a 3×3 area; matching 5 in a single line earns you a colour bomb that clears everything of that colour from the board. Combining special candies with other special candies triggers chain explosions (for example, colour bomb + striped candy turns every candy of that colour on the board into a striped candy and pops them all). Each level offers one of 4 different objective types: reaching a target score, bringing cherries that drop onto the screen down to the bottom, clearing jelly cells on the board, or collecting a certain amount of a certain colour. Objective success is measured with a star system — earning 3 stars requires performing well above the target; 14 achievements provide long-term goals. The daily challenge gives a new puzzle every day; if you play without breaking your daily streak you earn a streak reward and unlock special boosters (such as a colour popper or a move adder). Tip: don't spend your special candies right away — save them up for long chains and wait to combine two specials, since the bonus points and move economy you gain compound.
