Wax Seal — free browser game

Wax Seal simulates the precision act of sealing letters in an old scriptorium. Six envelopes arrive in sequence; each carries a faint target ring that tells you two things at once — where to drip the wax (the centre) and how big the pool should be (the radius). On the right a red sealing candle hangs above the page; you slide it horizontally with the mouse (or your finger). Press and hold the button to tip the candle: wax drips down and a red pool grows under the cursor. Release and dripping stops, but the pool immediately starts to **cool**. A thermometer next to the pool shows its current temperature: it starts at 100° on first drip and falls about 30° per second. A green band on the gauge marks the 'ready' window — roughly 30°-65°. When you're ready press the **Stamp** button (or the Space key): a brass die slams down onto the wax. Three things score at once: (1) **position** — how close the pool centre is to the target centre; (2) **size** — how well the pool radius matches the target radius (both too small and too big hurt); (3) **temperature** — whether the wax is inside the green band when you strike. Too hot and the wax smears; too cold and the die won't bite. The three multipliers multiply and award up to 100 points per envelope. Each envelope has 6 seconds; let the clock run out and you walk away with 0. As soon as all six envelopes are sealed the round ends, the total is banked, and the next round begins — targets shrink, time shortens, and the green temperature band narrows. Your best single-round score is saved locally. Strategy: line the candle up over the target centre first, then drip a pool that matches the target radius — a faint guide ring around your pool turns green when the size is right, so release at that moment. Don't stamp instantly — let the wax cool into the green band — but don't dawdle; once the band passes, the wax sets and the die slips.
