Tips and detailed strategy
Pong is one of the oldest video game classics — Atari shipped the two-player paddle duel in 1972 and this is the free, no-install browser version against the computer. Move the blue paddle on the left up and down to return the ball; the goal is to make the CPU paddle on the right miss. First to 7 points wins the match. Controls are flexible: ↑/↓ keys, W/S, the mouse, or a finger drag on touch — all glide smoothly to make desktop and mobile feel the same. Press Space or click the play area to serve; if the ball passes your side the CPU scores, if it passes theirs you score. The depth of Pong is in the physics: every paddle hit adds a small speed-up, and the bounce angle depends on where the ball strikes — near the edge gives a steep angle, near the centre keeps the bounce flat. That angle control is your real weapon: drag the CPU into the corners by hitting the ball off your paddle's edges. Don't play passive defence — anticipate where the ball will land and move first. P pauses, R restarts.
