Compass — free browser game

Compass is a 60-second dual-control balance game. The screen shows a large compass face with two needles radiating from the centre: a long RED needle and a shorter BLUE needle. Each needle has a colored TARGET ARC on the compass face, and your job is to keep that needle's tip inside its target arc. The needles don't sit still: invisible magnetic pulses periodically kick each needle, giving it angular velocity — the red needle drifts clockwise/counter-clockwise from your perspective, and so does the blue. You counter the pulses with the arrow keys: ← / → applies a small counter-clockwise / clockwise torque to the red needle; ↑ / ↓ does the same for the blue needle. WASD works the same way (A/D=red, W/S=blue). Every game tick, you score +1 for each needle whose tip currently lies inside its target arc; if both needles are inside simultaneously you score +2 instead (synchrony bonus). The top HUD shows live deviation angles and the accumulating 'both in tolerance' streak. The target arcs gently rotate to a new bearing every 15 seconds — you have to track both simultaneously like tuning two radios. As the round progresses, pulses come more often and harder, and the tolerance arcs narrow. After 60 seconds your total score is saved. Tip: holding a key applies continuous torque and over-swings the needle; short rhythmic taps stay calmer — and leaning the needle slightly to the opposite side of an incoming pulse means it'll already be halfway home when the pulse hits.
