Tips and detailed strategy
You are solving a nonogram (a picture logic puzzle). There are numbers to the left of every row and above every column; these numbers tell you how many consecutive filled cells there are in that row or column, in what order, from left to right (or top to bottom). For example, "3 1" means there is first a block of 3 filled cells in that line, then at least one gap, followed by 1 filled cell. "0" indicates that the line is completely empty. Your goal is to find the filled/empty arrangement that satisfies all the clues at the same time. You can click a cell to make it filled/empty, and mark the cells you are sure are empty with an ✕ — the ✕ marks are only there to help you and do not affect the solution. On desktop, left-click paints and right-click places an ✕; on touch, switch between painting and marking with the "Mode" button at the top (the M key also works). When a row's or column's clue is satisfied, that line's numbers fade out; this is a sign you are on the right track, but there may not always be a single solution — what matters is that all rows and columns fit at the same time. The moment all clues are satisfied the puzzle ends and your time is saved; if you finish faster at the same size, your best time is updated. With the size button you can switch between 5×5 and 10×10, and with R or the New button you can open a fresh puzzle at any time.
