Tax Auditor — free browser game

Your goal is to detect the anomalies in invoice tables, like a tax inspector. Each round opens a table of 8 rows, and usually 3 to 5 of them hide a fraud: the amount + VAT might not match the total, the date might be in the future, the same invoice number might appear in two rows at once, the amount might be abnormally high compared with the others, or the VAT rate might have been pulled to a strange figure instead of the standard 18%. Mark a row you suspect by clicking it with the mouse; a correct catch earns base points plus a time bonus for fast play, while wrongly flagging a clean row costs you penalty points and increases your error counter. If you reach 3 errors you're stripped of your inspector's post and the game ends; use Next round to end a round early, and R to start over. Tip: first quickly check amount + VAT = total on every row, then scan the dates and look for repeated invoice numbers; if you're not sure, don't flag it — a missed anomaly only loses you a bonus, but a wrong flag gets you removed from your chair.
