Minesweeper — free browser game

Clear the board by opening every cell that doesn't hide a mine. Left-click to open a cell; right-click (or long-press on mobile) to flag a cell you suspect. Double-clicking an opened number cell auto-opens all its remaining neighbours if you've already flagged the right number of mines around it (a chord move). Each opened number tells you how many mines sit in the eight cells touching it; empty cells chain-open and reveal large safe areas. Your first click never lands on a mine, but a single wrong click ends the run. Win by opening every safe cell. Tip: flag the obvious mines around clear numbers first, then chord through to expand quickly; if you can't deduce the next move, switch to a different corner instead of guessing. Press R to restart.
