Tetris — free browser game

Stack the seven different tetromino pieces falling from above so they completely fill horizontal rows on the playfield; every full row clears and scores points. Move pieces left/right with ← and →, rotate clockwise with X (or ↑) and counter-clockwise with Z, soft drop with ↓ to control speed, or hard drop with Space to lock the piece instantly. C or Shift swaps the active piece with the hold slot. P pauses, R restarts. Every ten cleared rows you level up — gravity speeds up and the score multiplier grows. Clearing four rows at once (a Tetris) gives the biggest payout. The run ends when the stack reaches the top and no more pieces fit. Tip: keep the rightmost column open and feed it the vertical I-piece for four-row clears; use the ghost outline to land pieces flat against the existing stack.
