Blow Out the Candles turns a birthday ritual into a small puzzle. A row of lit candles sits on a cake; your job is to blow them all out using as few breaths as possible per level. Drag anywhere on the cake and release: the direction of your drag is the breath's direction, the length is its strength. The breath spreads in a narrow cone fanning out from where you started the drag — candles inside the cone receive damage depending on (a) how close they are to the cone's centre line and (b) how close they are to the starting point. A long drag pointed directly at a far candle makes a long, focused cone that can snipe distant targets; a short drag produces a wide, weak puff that's good only for things right in front of you. Three extras keep things spicy: (1) some levels have little metal windbreaks — a breath aimed past them is blocked behind their shadow, so you have to find an angle that goes around. (2) Tall orange candles are tougher; they take roughly twice the damage of the slim cream ones, so plan a direct hit or two ordinary breaths. (3) Each candle wears down: a thin bar under the flame shows remaining hit points (green → yellow → red). The HUD shows current level, breaths this level, total breaths and your record. Record = lowest total breaths to clear all five levels; lower is better and it's stored in your browser. When every candle is out the level ends; after the final level your total is compared to your best. R restarts the run; N skips the current level for debugging but ruins your efficiency. Tip: a narrow cone beats a wide one — instead of trying to chop your drag short, find an angle whose centre line crosses several candles' wicks. For two symmetric candles, draw from a point on the line between them through their midpoint; one cone covers both.
