Tips and detailed strategy
Bounce Predict is a pure mental ray-tracing game: a ball enters a rectangular box from an edge point, bounces off the walls with exact reflection angles, and exits back through the edge. Before the ball moves, you only see the entry point (green marker), the initial direction (a short arrow vector) and the number of bounces in the HUD. Your job is to trace the reflections in your head and click the exact point on the perimeter where the ball will exit. When you click, the cursor snaps to the nearest perimeter point on that wall and the ball begins travelling along the true path; the real exit is shown with a red cross. Your score depends on how close your guess was: within 12 px is a 'bullseye' worth +20, within 30 px is +10, within 60 px is +4, beyond that 0. Difficulty ramps automatically — early rounds have 1 bounce, later rounds 2, 3, up to 5; the box size is fixed but the angles get tighter. A match is 10 rounds; at the end your total is compared with your local best and saved if higher. Strategy: angle of reflection equals angle of incidence; each side wall flips the sign of horizontal velocity, each top/bottom wall flips the vertical sign. For 45° angles think diagonally; use the classic billiards 'unfolding' trick — imagine the box unfolded into a strip and trace where the straight line lands. Tip: read the direction vector in the HUD (e.g., dx:1, dy:-1 = equal slope, bar is exactly 45°); once the ball reaches the half-line, the wall it will cross next is decided.
