Tips and detailed strategy
Snake Charmer is a continuous pitch-tracking game: a cobra rises from a basket and you have to keep its head inside the yellow 'trance band' that drifts up and down the stage. You control the pitch of your flute with the mouse or touch (drag up = higher, down = lower), or by holding ↑/↓ (W/S) on the keyboard. But the snake doesn't snap to your pitch — it follows with a spring-damper, so it overshoots after sharp moves and smooths out little jitters. The yellow band oscillates slowly up and down; while the head is inside it, your score ticks up and the 'Spook' bar on the left edge slowly drains. Whenever the head leaves the band the Spook bar starts filling — the farther outside, the faster. Fill it completely and the snake bolts back into the basket; the run ends. Difficulty ramps with time: the band gets thinner, swings faster, and its amplitude grows — you need finer, quicker reactions. Keyboard input is smooth and gradual; mouse input snaps to position and is faster but tends to overshoot more. Strategy: lock onto the band's current centre, decelerate early near the turn-arounds, and anticipate the snake's inertia by starting your descent slightly before the band does, so the head arrives just in time. Click, tap, or press Space to start; R or the Restart button begins a new round. Your best score is saved in the browser.
